What the Counseling Process Looks Like

Week One: Intake

  • We'll meet with you and your child to discuss concerns, assess your child's needs, and develop a personalized treatment plan.

 

Weeks Two & Beyond: Therapy

  • Your child will learn practical coping mechanisms, communication skills, and strategies to manage anxious thoughts and feelings.

  • We may recommend involving you in some sessions to provide support, learn strategies to reinforce positive coping skills at home, and create a consistent approach to managing anxiety.

Termination: 1-2 Final Sessions

  • We'll celebrate your child's progress and develop a plan to help them maintain healthy coping mechanisms and emotional well-being.
