Hi, I'm Emily, and I believe we find greater peace, confidence, and happiness when we take the time to understand ourselves and what we truly need. Whether you're facing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, family conflict, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can be a place to slow down, gain clarity, and reconnect with yourself and the people who matter most.

My passion for understanding people started early. When I was young, my mom would read me "Dear Abby" letters, and I found myself naturally thinking through what I would say to help. Even then, I was fascinated by human behavior, relationships, and the ways people navigate life's challenges. Creating a space where people feel comfortable sharing their hearts has always come naturally to me, and it remains one of the things I love most about being a therapist.

I view therapy as a collaborative process where we work together to better understand your experiences, identify patterns that may be holding you back, and develop tools to help you move forward with confidence. Whether I'm working with an individual, couple, or family, my goal is to create a supportive and judgment-free environment where everyone feels heard, valued, and understood.

Like many of my clients, I have experienced my own struggles with anxiety and depression. My journey taught me how powerful it can be to gain new perspectives, challenge unhelpful thoughts, and learn healthier ways of coping. Those experiences allow me to bring genuine empathy and authenticity into the therapy room. I know how difficult it can feel to ask for help, and I also know how transformative that support can be.

Together, we'll work toward building confidence, strengthening relationships, improving communication, and creating a deeper connection with yourself. Growth isn't always comfortable, but it is often where healing begins. My hope is that our work helps you feel more grounded, empowered, and able to embrace the life you want to create.

When I'm not in the office, you can usually find me reading, exercising, spending time in nature, traveling, or enjoying my favorite "grandma hobby" birding. I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) and am a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern (RCSWI) providing individual, couples, and family therapy. I believe that the more we understand ourselves and our relationships, the easier it becomes to create meaningful connections, find joy, and live authentically. I would be honored to support you on that journey.
